christmas tree drink stirrers
Happy Holidays, y’all! I’m getting pretty darn excited for Christmas to get here! We’ve had our first real snow here in Cleveland which always gets me in the spirit. We are also trying to teach our 1 year old how to say “ho ho ho” - so that makes me cheery, right?! (side note - it ain’t workin’)
With the holidays around the corner, we have so many parties to attend - so I am guessing some of you guys are hosting parties of your own! Want to add an extra dash of holiday cheer? These flocked Christmas tree drink stirrers are the perfect addition to those cranberry margaritas (okay, that’s a thing, right?!)
AND - this is honestly the easiest project I’ve ever done. You’re welcome :)
First, as we always do, we must gather our GIANT LIST of supplies. I’m totally kidding. You need 2 things. Oh - and a glue gun. Okay, 3 things. You’ll need that glue gun I mentioned, these mini doll-house-style Christmas trees, and acrylic drink stirrers. As always, there is a linked list at the bottom of the post.
Grab your mini trees, turn them over, and put a glob of hot glue (sounds appealing right?) on the bottom of the tree. See the picture below.
Now, grab the acrylic stirrer and stick the end with the “ball” on it into the hot glue perpendicularly (+1 bonus point for vocabulary!)
Let that glue dry, then see how sturdy your tree feels. If necessary, add a little more hot glue around that base of the tree / top of the stirrer. And you’re done! HOW EASY WAS THAT?!
Now get craftin! I’d love to see your projects, too! Post them below or tag me on Instagram / Facebook @confettifridays.
Thanks for stopping by!
